I designed and printed merchandise for Bay Hope Church's RIOT students camp which is attended by hundreds. Each student gets a shirt, so I love being able to see these shirts that have my design be worn every week by organization members as well as people I don't know in public. Designed with a retro feel to be worn everyday, combining illustrative and classic design.
The goal of this project was to create a young and trendy design that could be worn as a lifestyle shirt that promotes the camp as well as the theme of God's power. I focused on lightning considering an icon that's included in RIOT's branding as well as a symbol of God's power and a symbol of the Tampa Bay area. I think I achieved this goal by incorporating their branding guidelines while making the shirt something people would want to wear outside of the church walls.
